A.K. Ballard 3 Gal Crock, Burlington VT, c. 1867-1874, with foliate cobalt decoration & impressed makers mark. From the well known Ballard family, Alfred Ballard operated the pottery solo after his brother Orrin went on his own path. This piece is well preserved, with a chip underneath that does not impact the visual value of the piece.
Hand-Carved Wooden Rocking Horse c. 1880-1900, with original tack construction and distressed paint, horse hair tail, and sleigh rocker base, wear consistent with age and use, including cracks (including one on neck not depicted in photos), wear to paint, etc.,
Marmaduke Cradock (English, 1660-1716), Birds In Landscape, Oil On Board, depicting various bird species including a peacock, chickens, etc., with landscape in the distance, framed, wear consistent with age, frame size: 13" h x 16" w., ss: 10" h. x 13" w.
